Personal Care sensitive parts of our bodies. We use body soaps, lotions toothpastes and deodorants everyday.
Unfortunately there are no regulations for these products so we advise you to de the following:- buy A Consumer Dictionary of Cosmetic Ingredients which we sell or rely on our good selves for carefully selected products.
The commercial products that we don't sell use petrochemicals in them and there are thousands of ingredients derived from them. Please take time to read the labels.
Beware of clever manufactures trying to cover up the artificial colours, fragrances and preservatives by adding natural ingredients like Aloe Vera and herbs or honey. It is better to use a product without these things as they are just trying to appear more natural.
Also watch out for 'cruelty free products' which is not tested on animals which is what we expect for all our products however don't be fooled because it has this label that it is natural.
Hypoallergenic means the most common allergens have been removed but they still may contain undesirable ingredients.
The most common complaint of personal care products is skin rash which is no surprise as the skin is the largest organ in our body and we now know how penetrable it is.
