Eco gadgets – more than just green products?

There is a lot of buzz out there about eco products and especially about eco gadgets. Everything is eco this and eco that but are they just trying to make their product more sexy by marketing it with this word.

In fact is buying stuff at all eco Personally have had a pile of gadgets I really enjoyed for the first 2 weeks, after that they were stacked on shelves. They were cool, but now they’re useless. Now I am done with buying gadgets.

Every now and then I have gone across somthing worthy of the title ‘eco gadgets’. These have had to pass a very strict criteria that I have set for myself and have to make a considerable difference to consuming electricity

I discovered a while ago a product called Wattson. It has lovely design, it’s stylish, it’s iPod-like. What does it do? Well, it glows blue when you are using little electricity and flashes red when you are consuming a lot. OK it does not sound like something what we should spend money on. But believe me it is worth a whirl.

Wattsoncalculates pounds you will have to pay annually, based on what you are using that minutes or even second. You can have exact amount of what your whole household is using or may prefer to know of your new fridge. Wattson will tell that.

With petrol creeping up to $100 a barrel there is now another reason to take the T.V. off stand by or switch off a light that no one is using.

This gizmo can help you to save on your electricity bill from 3% to 15%. Not too bad indeed. It will be there for you like a nagging mother. But listen to her and you will prevail.

Eco charger

The problem with gadgets is you always forget to take them when you need them. How many times have you been without a flash light when you have been walking home along a cliff as drunk as a bat in the dark of the night (minus the sonar). However here is one gadget that I never have home without.

I searched for a good solar charger for my iPod, and I discovered some, but hey I have other stuff, a mobile phone, PDA, battery charger, digi cam, portable DVD player, and a cupboard of others more or less useful devices. It would be a great idea to have one charger for all of them.
